Set the screen before fine projector alignment
Deploy the screen fully and ensure it is level and stable. Do not use digital keystone as the first fix for mechanical misalignment. Position the projector physically so the image is square before applying small electronic corrections, if any.
Respect ALR orientation
UST lenticular material is directional. The surface is designed to accept steep light from the projector and reject light from other directions. An incorrectly oriented screen can dramatically reduce projector light rather than room light.

The projector’s lens height, distance from the screen and vertical offset all interact. A media cabinet that looks perfect aesthetically can be the wrong height for the target diagonal. Check the projector’s placement chart before buying or cutting furniture.
Motorized screen considerations
Keep the screen’s travel path clear. Confirm that the case is level, power cable is not under tension and the surface can extend without rubbing furniture. For the PET Crystal Classic specifically, the seller warns against arbitrary adjustment beyond the factory-set height/black-border position.
